Located in the heart of Budapest, near Vörösmarty Square
This meticulously designed, cosmopolitan apartment offers a luxurious retreat for tourists and travelers arriving in Budapest
The interior reflects the elegant pulse of downtown, providing a unique experience for those who choose to live here or stay for a few days.
The apartment had to be extravagant and feature urban elements befitting its prestigious city center location.
Since the apartment is only 55 square meters with a single room opening onto the square through two large windows and a small stone balcony, we couldn’t afford to split it into small rooms.
Designed to be attractive and elegant
The connection between the living room and bedroom had to be seamless without compromising the overall aesthetics, turning the functional design into a natural aesthetic experience.
The glass structure within the rusty iron frame separating the bedroom, which doesn’t reach the ceiling, serves as a partition but doesn’t isolate.
Harmonious style elements.
We can see the bedroom, but it doesn’t disturb, as its decoration is so intertwined with the living room space that they cannot exist separately.
The decorative solutions covering the walls combine industrial elements with baroque flair. The beams on the ceiling rhythmically finish and merge with the space.
The warmth of the oak floor complements the noble wood materials of the furniture. The oak displays various shades, from dark to light, in gray tones, appearing on the chairs and tables.
The smoking table, combined with iron, repeats previously used materials in a subtler form. A vintage rug adds warmth, evoking timeless tapestries, accompanied by a traditional animal skin rug. The golden taffeta curtains with a large tassel evoke a castle atmosphere.
An antique-style black bookshelf and sideboard complete the stylistic harmony. The carefully selected lamps also fit perfectly into this extraordinary ensemble.
The kitchenette is hidden behind closed doors, and a massive wardrobe storage hides behind the wallpapered wall of the hallway.
The end result
Comfort, grandeur, and practicality have come to life in this marvelous, opportunity-filled interior space.
